Over the past two years at UAE Enterprises Group and its affiliated companies in building materials and real estate, I led a comprehensive gap‐analysis and ERP/CRM implementation effort that spanned every core department. Below is a summary of the work and impact in each area:
1. Finance & Accounting
• Gap Analysis: Disjointed ledger entries, manual invoice matching, and inconsistent financial reporting across branches.
• Implementation: Deployed Odoo’s Accounting module to automate journal entries, bank reconciliations, and multi‐currency invoicing.
• Results: Closed month‐end 50% faster, reduced invoice discrepancies by 80%, and provided real-time P&L dashboards to senior management.

2. Sales & Customer Management
• Gap Analysis: Leads were tracked in isolated spreadsheets, resulting in missed follow‐ups and delayed response times.
• Implementation: Rolled out Odoo CRM to centralize lead capture, automate opportunity scoring, and enforce follow‐up reminders.
• Results: Increased lead‐to‐quote conversion by 35% and shortened average sales cycle by 20%, while giving sales managers clear visibility into pipeline health.
3. Inventory & Supply Chain (Building Materials Division)
• Gap Analysis: Overstock and stockouts occurred frequently due to lack of a unified inventory ledger and no real‐time visibility into warehouse levels.
• Implementation: Implemented Odoo Inventory to track stock moves, set reorder rules, and integrate with purchase orders.
• Results: Reduced stock holding costs by 25%, eliminated stock outages for key SKUs, and improved order‐fulfillment accuracy to 98%.

4. Procurement & Vendor Management
• Gap Analysis: Purchase requests, approvals, and vendor negotiations were handled ad hoc, delaying critical material acquisitions.
• Implementation: Enabled Odoo Purchase to automate RFQs, vendor price comparisons, and approval workflows.
• Results: Cut procurement cycle times by 30%, secured better pricing through centralized vendor scorecards, and standardized purchase‐order processes across all subsidiaries.
5. Human Resources & Payroll
• Gap Analysis: Employee records were scattered between paper files and standalone software; payroll calculations were error‐prone.
• Implementation: Deployed Odoo’s HR and Payroll modules to centralize employee data, automate attendance tracking, and run accurate salary calculations.
• Results: Eliminated manual payroll adjustments, reduced processing time by 40%, and enabled managers to run instant headcount and turnover reports.
6. Customer Service & Support (Real Estate Division)
• Gap Analysis: All service requests (maintenance, tenant inquiries, warranty claims) lacked a unified ticketing system, leading to slow resolution.
• Implementation: Set up Odoo Helpdesk to route tickets, track SLAs, and escalate critical issues.
• Results: Improved first‐response times by 50%, raised customer satisfaction scores to 92%, and reduced open‐ticket backlog by 70%.
7. Marketing & Communications
• Gap Analysis: Marketing campaigns (email blasts, social media ads) were launched without proper segmentation or ROI tracking.
• Implementation: Integrated Odoo’s Marketing Automation with Mailchimp and Zapier, enabling segmented email campaigns, social posts, and automated lead nurturing.
• Results: Increased qualified leads by 45%, achieved a 22% lift in email open rates, and provided clear campaign‐performance dashboards.
8. Operations & Project Management
• Gap Analysis: Construction and fit‐out projects in the real‐estate portfolio lacked standardized task tracking and budget controls.
• Implementation: Activated Odoo’s Project module to plan tasks, assign resources, and manage bid‐to‐completion budgets.
• Results: Delivered three major fit‐out projects on schedule, stayed within 5% of approved budgets, and improved cross‐team coordination through shared Gantt charts.
9. IT Infrastructure & Security
• Gap Analysis: Legacy servers, inconsistent backups, and no centralized user‐access policies led to security and uptime risks.
• Implementation: Migrated on‐premise applications to Odoo’s cloud environment, enforced single sign‐on (SSO) via Google Workspace, and standardized user‐roles and permissions.
• Results: Increased system uptime to 99.9%, eliminated redundant servers (saving 20% in hosting costs), and ensured SOC‐compliant data security policies across all departments.
By conducting a thorough gap analysis in each department, designing tailored Odoo workflows, and overseeing change management, I helped UAE Enterprises Group achieve a 60% improvement in overall operational efficiency, eliminate data silos, and foster a truly unified, data‐driven organization.
